Attached picture not showing up?

Hi,

I made a listing yesterday and noticed that when I added a picture to the post it auto-populated the attachment field. (which I thought was a cool new feature) After posting I noticed the listing thumbnail was just blank. I then attached a real picture and it shows as the attachment but the thumbnail is still blank. Not sure how to fix it.

I saw this the other day. It's cause you originally loaded a gif file. I'll have to restrict that as a file type here. The image not showing up was due to cache. There's a 24 hour cycle that I manually refreshed to verify. This saves on bandwidth costs one we get bigger and to keep the site performing fast.

If you refresh it should show. The attachement always shows at the bottom even in the other system. I'd suggest not to put the large image in the post and instead let people click the image. It saves bandwidth and also makes for a carousel.

Huh, I don't even have a gif on my computer so I don't know how that could happen. As I mentioned, the attachment field auto-populated when I pasted the link for the pic in the thread. People always ask for pics, that's why I put them in the thread.

Either way, I can see the thumbnail now.

That's not what i mean...

1.) I'm not sure.. Let me konw if you run into it again.
2.) The picture will always upload as an attachment but delete the full size image in the thread. I'll edit it to show you what i mean. This give the description box more room then a lightbox for the images

You're using imgur to post it. So all good to go! Lol I'm just trying to save bandwidth.. Plus its easier to read for me. with less scrolling, but that's me. As long as you use imgur, do what you want. We like to provide options.

I always use imgur for detailed pics in the thread and then upload 1 thumbnail pic for the site. I thought that was the best way to do it.
